Any electrical wall panel upgrade will require a licensed electrician to perform any upgrades on it. Operating without proper equipment & training could result in electrical shock and injury. A full electrical panel upgrade can be very labour intensive, and requires extensive planning for proper execution.

There are regulatory requirements that have been mandated by BC Hydro as well, including, but not limited to:

• Requesting a Service Alteration
• Service Disconnection by BC Hydro
• Electrical Permit Application

Prior to your upgrade, please ensure that you have obtained proper strata property permission. Most upgrades & installations will take one-to-two days, with co-ordination and scheduling of materials and with BC Hydro taking upwards to 3 to 4 weeks.

Important Note
Within British Columbia, any grid-tied systems do require complex electrical connections to BC Hydro, and do need to be approved prior the installation to ensure a safe and effective operation. EVSOL Energy can help you with acquiring the proper permits for installation.
